American Heart Month

February is American Heart Month! The American Heart Association is promoting Go Red for Women as part of their efforts for the month and asking that we wear red on Friday, February 3rd. I didn't realize it, but according to their website, Heart Disease kills more women than all cancers combined. That's a whole lot scary.

Just a little shameless promotion of my business, Heavenly Hills Fabrics and Crafts - during the entire month of February 2012, we will be having a store-wide sale of 20% off everything in stock. We have new red fabrics, red notions and redwork books and patterns - we are also proud to now carry the beautiful redwork patterns of Cathy Parker of Quilting Bee Designs. Throughout the month, we plan to order in some additional red products and some of our last order is on back-order. We will also donate $1.00 from every order received during the month AND match it with an additional $1.00 to the American Heart Association for further research and education.

Be sure to use discount code "HEART" at checkout to receive 20% off your order!

February looks to be a fairly busy month for us, quilting wise. Lots to do to get ready for the Jackson's Mill retreat in March and I've been asked to speak at a meeting of the Millennium Quilters in April. We're also working on planning a class at the end of April - it should be loads of fun!Come on over and visit Heavenly Hills Fabrics and Crafts for a terrific sale and to help a great cause. Don't forget to wear red on Friday, February 3rd - it will do your heart good!
